From Garbage Dump to Millionaire Entrepreneur

This is my story of how I overcame loss, adversity, misfortune, and fateful hardship. It will astound you to learn why this story is important to you! I will teach you about why:

“The toughest lessons learned are the best lessons earned”  and what that means to you!

My life’s lessons were on building credibility, integrity, focus, and influence to empower myself to achieve success. I learned how to let adversity be my strength. Do you think you’ve got it bad? Do you think you are the only one to have ever lost something? Do you think the world is picking on you?

Do you think it couldn’t get any worse?

Think again—and listen as I tell you how to achieve your every dream…even if you grew up at a GARBAGE DUMP like I did. Talk about starting at the bottom! My philosophy is that, “If you are at the utmost bottom, there isn’t anywhere to go but up!”  So how did I do it? I went from the lowest point in my life to making over a million dollars, twice! Then find out how I lost every penny of it!

It has taken every ounce of strength to forge forward to achieve my dreams and goals. I am often quenched by inspirational reading and stories of success. I am especially moved by them because it embodies the spirit of success that can empower every person to greatness in the face of their worst fear. I thought that I would never get an education, let alone a college degree. I went from being a three-time college dropout to earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics, a Master’s of Science Degree in Technical Management, a Commercial Pilot’s Certificate, and a Multi-engine Flight Instructor’s License, and became a Master Aviation/Aerospace Safety Authority—and  a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.

I did it all in less than seven years!

I’ve traveled the world. At last count, I have been to more than 109 of the 195 countries on this earth, traveled on more than 160 luxury cruises and flown more than 15 multi-million dollar aircraft, held positions in business and industry as President, Executive Vice-President, Director and Professor.

In business and life I have faced of thousands of people and passed as many in casual chance and circumstance. Yet, in all that I have achieved, in my every success, and in the many accomplishments, I consider that my station in life is only valuable to one person—the last person who was moved to action or who was strengthened by something I said to them or an act of kindness I did for them.

No matter what a person gains or losses, no matter who supported them or squelched them, every person has the ability to rise above the last test of his character to face the next challenge strengthened by his experience. Whether you are a victim of your own fears or victorious over your  fears, you decide your fate and no one else.

Life (and business) is like an EKG…there are ups and downs and that is a GOOD thing. Flat lines mean that you are dead. Life’s challenges deliver ups and downs.

Will you be a victim or are you victorious? You decide.

I became widowed during the same time I lost my business due to the economy. I was foreclosed on by the mortgage companie(s). Yes, plural. Lost my home(s), cars, savings, retirement, business and more. I was:

  • widowed,
  • homeles,
  • foreclosed,
  • bankrupt,
  • discredited,
  • unemployed,
  • diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and at the time…
  • technically uneducated.
  • I had no degree and
  • a Million-dollars in medical bills looming due to my wife’s Cancer treatments.

Let’s not forget that I then was treated for every anxiety one could imagine as well as clinically depression.  It seemed hopeless.

However, I have never believed that hope is or was the answer. If it was going to happwn it was up to me. Everyone else dissapeared as you can imagine.

not having any money is!”

Each individual may or may not be proud of the part they played in my life experiences that have contributed to who and what I am today. Some people were instrumental to my failures and some influential to my successes. Either way, I am better man for it. Thanks to David and Trent for their support, contribution, and trust during some of the toughest times of my life. I am especially thankful for those people who denied me, stopped me, held me back, crushed my enthusiasm, said no, didn’t care, cheated me, refused me, snubbed me, were resentful of me, were indignant, slighted me, and challenged me.

To them, thanks for nothing—and

thanks for everything!
